Limerick:  I was sitting on a big mound Made out of dirt from the ground he came at a run I shot my gun We tracked him until he was found. Haiku: The buck came in swiftly I tried to get my bow down But he ruan away Cinquain: Quietly Leaves crunching the buck came I drew my bow Thwack!

My disappointment-a hunting story

I was sitting in the stand, and I heard something big rustling the leaves behind me. In the dim light, I could just see the 10 point buck I was waiting for. He came in to 20 yards.  Heart pounding, I drew back, put the sight on him and fired. He ran off and  I watched him until he got out of sight. Disapointed he didn't fall in my sight I listened and I thought I heard him drop.  I texted pappy to tell him I got the one I was after, The monster buck. When we got down we found and checked the arrow. It looked like a gut shot, so we decided to wait till the next morning to go tracking. I could barely sleep that night. I was extremely nervous. Pappy has killed so many big bucks and I hoped it was my turn. The next morning, Pappy went hunting but I stayed home for anxious waiting. When pappy got home he ate breakfast and we talked about his morning hunt. After all that waiting, It was time to get on the blood trail. It was perfect and easy to folow.
